Paul Kerr raises over $500,000 for the second consecutive quarter

San Diego, CA- Paul Kerr, a Vietnam-era Navy Veteran, Democrat and local business owner will release very strong fundraising results in his recently completed, 2ndquarter. The campaign will report raising over $500,000 for the second consecutive quarter, bringing total fundraising for 2017 to over One Million dollars. It bears noting that Paul has made a substantial donation to his campaign, thereby demonstrating his absolute commitment to defeating Darrell Issa, the richest member of the House of Representatives.
Paul said “I am very proud of all of the support I’ve received from voters throughout the district and from supporters throughout the state of California. As I’ve said since this race began, I stand for Medicare-for-All, as well as REAL support for our Veterans, our environment, our LGBT community, our immigrants and Working Families. Darrell Issa has served as a road-block to these exact efforts for over 17 years. Darrell Issa must be stopped and I am committed to making that happen."
Paul was raised in a middle-class community by working-class parents. He has lived in San Diego County for over 43 years. He’s an enlisted, Vietnam-era Navy Veteran, who served on a destroyer out of San Diego that patrolled the coast of Vietnam shortly after that war ended. Having worked his way through college, Paul is a proud alumnus of San Diego State University. For the past 20 years, Paul has been an owner of a very successful, small business based in San Diego.
California’s 49th Congressional District stretches from UCSD in the south, through northern, coastal San Diego County and Camp Pendleton to Orange County’s Dana Point and Ladera Ranch in the north.
